Early Head Start staff members shine this month.

Spartanburg County First Steps, Early Head Start is Proud to recognize the accomplishments of three staff members.

Jodie Martin, Family Services Program Specialist, recently completed and passed the 4 hour Professional Counseling exam. She is now a Licensed Professional Counselor, which allows her to engage in 150 hours of professional counselor supervision.

Rosalyn Splawn, Health and Nutrition Program Specialist, was recently selected to serve on the Prenatal Instructor/Parent Educator Team through the Women and Children Services at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Rosalyn will provide infant CPR instruction to pregnant women.

Shawna Bynum, Quality Program Specialist, recently became certified “reliable” in ITERS (infant/toddler environmental rating scale).
