Resource Rally
SCFS EHS in collaboration with the Upstate Fatherhood Coalition, participated in a Resource Rally for families. The community providers who participated in the event were Regenesis, Community Works, Upstate Fatherhood Coalition, SCFS Early Head Start and Richard Williams, real estate agency. Families were able to obtain information on health, financial restoration, home ownership, early childhood education and the importance of male involvement. A day of networking and collaboration occurred!
SCFS EHS Family Engagement Collaboration with the Children’s Museum
SCFS EHS partners with The Children’s Museum of the Upstate to host monthly events to support parent, family, and community engagement. The March event featured a flower craft activity. The Children’s Museum was filled with the smiling faces of 10 parents and their children as they worked together to create this artwork. While families attended this event to enjoy The Children’s Museum, there was also opportunity for relationship building between parents, children, and the museum. The next engagement event is scheduled on April 25, 2023, at the Children’s Museum.
